Investing in technology

The Irrigation Australia conference presentations and exhibition showed many advances in applied irrigation technologies.

Among these is oxygation, a subject presented by Dr Surya Bhattarai from the Central Queensland University. This technique enhances the performance of drip irrigation by supplying air directly to the root zone, overcoming effects of poor soil aeration.
